Cupcakes Take the Cake
Earlier this week, we were SO extremely excited and privileged to be featured on the #1 cupcake website Cupcakes Take the Cake!!! Please check out this link for the full feature and pictures included. I cannot begin express my appreciation for the recognition and support! It continues to thrill me and provides even more motivation and inspiration that is much needed with the beginning of any new venture! Merci beaucoup!

Fairytales and Tutus
My daughter recently started taking ballet classes at the most adorable dance school called Fairytales and Tutus. The concept of the classes is ingenious: providing ballet classes with a different story and costumes every week to enchant the children... and the parents! I was so inspired that when the Summer session ended, I made cupcakes to depict all six stories to which they had danced.

Country Bridal Shower
We recently received an order for a bridal shower with a Country Chic theme. In addition to a presentation of cupcakes for the celebration, we were told the bride absolutely loved mason jars and came up with an idea for shower giveaways. They came out super cute!

Girly Birthdays
Being a girly girl myself, it's always fun to make super feminine cupcakes with a personalized twist! These are a few birthday cupcakes made throughout the Summer.

Thanks!
Cupcakes make a fabulous gift and are especially thoughtful when personalized!
In May, I wanted to show gratitude to my daughter's teachers and entire preschool. I was totally inspired by cupcakes I saw by Clever Cupcakes in Montreal. So cute! For her teachers, we made apple cupcakes and put them in bushels with tags that read "Thanks a bushel!".
We also received an order earlier this month from a customer who wanted to express gratitude for hard work at the corporate office of a luxury eyewear company. The cupcake designs were centered around the product they received at their warehouse (i.e. Chanel and Gucci sunglasses) and all the tools utilized.

Having come from the country who has won the most World Cups, it was a very exciting Summer as this global soccer tournament took place. Though my two teams (Brasil and USA) did not win, it was fun to cheer them on just the same and celebrate, as everyone should, with cupcakes!
Looking forward to the next tournament in 2014, which will actually be taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil!!!

Yee Haw, Cowgirl!
In addition to my love of cupcakes, planning parties is another passion of mine and just like baking and decorating, I absolutely love to put together children's parties! Luckily, I have the opportunity to exercise my party planning skills with my daughter's birthday. This year, we had a cowgirl-themed party at this adorable equestrian park in town, equipped with covered wagon tables and pony rides provided by Petting Zoo 2 U.

Around Memorial Day, I know I am not the only one dreaming of fun in the sun and a little BBQ! That's why when I saw the idea of cupcakes and cookies replicating this traditional Summer meal on the wonderfully inspiring website Bakerella, I knew I had to try it. They came out pretty cute, though it is a little different expecting to bite into something salty and getting something sweet! No complaints!

Cupcakes of Holidays Past
The holidays are a great time to celebrate old traditions and create new ones with friends and family, but what's better than holiday treats and sweets?!
Last Halloween, I made spider web lollipop cookies for several events, including our friends' Halloween party. The kids snacked on these spooky treats after a long, arduous night of trick-or-treating!
During the winter season, I always love to wish friends and co-workers happy holidays in a fun way! At the end of last year, I found adorable popcorn boxes with a reindeer and snowflake print on them, which inspired me to make these popcorn cupcakes. I accentuated the presentation with some real popcorn and a cute tag that read "Hope your holidays are poppin'!".
Earlier this Spring, I received the book Hello Cupcake as a gift from my parents that includes so many cute ideas for decorating cupcakes! Since it was the Easter season, I was inspired to make the rabbits diving into their bunny holes.
Last month when we received a cupcake order for 4th of July, I wanted to do something really patriotic and fun. What else screams Independence Day than Uncle Sam, the Statue of Liberty and a ton of fireworks?! I also added a little summer flair with popsicles and watermelons.
As the Fall approaches, I'm really looking forward to all inspiration the upcoming Holidays will bring!
